REMEMBERING

A Week of Yoga, Presence, Connection & Discovery

April 11–18, 2027
Quinta Camarena · Alentejo, Portugal

What if a retreat isn't about becoming someone new, but about remembering who you already are?

Remembering how to slow down.
How to listen.
How to breathe deeply.
How to rest.
How to connect.
How to be curious.
How to savor the moment.
How to make space for what truly matters.

Join us for seven nights at Quinta Camarena, a beautiful, sustainably minded retreat center nestled among nine acres of gardens, orchards, pine and cork oak forest in Portugal's Alentejo region.

Here, the days have room to breathe.

A Daily Rhythm of Practice & Possibility

Each morning begins with meditation and yoga, creating a quiet foundation for the day. We'll move through thoughtful yoga flows designed to cultivate strength, openness and awareness, with space to explore what our bodies and minds are asking for.

In the afternoons, we'll come back to the mat for yin, restorative or gentle flow—an opportunity to soften, slow down and turn inward.

Between practices, the day is yours.

Swim in the pool. Wander the gardens. Join workshops designed to inspire and connect. Take a walk through the woods. Relax in the sauna. Read in the sunshine. Explore the nearby village of Cercal. Or simply do nothing at all.

Because sometimes remembering begins with giving ourselves permission to stop.

Nourishment & Connection

Food will be part of the experience, too.

We'll share two freshly prepared farm-to-table meals each day, made with seasonal ingredients and enjoyed around the table. There will be time to linger over coffee, tea and fresh fruit, and to experience some of the flavors that make this region so special.

We'll gather for a Portuguese wine and cheese tasting, enjoy dinner at a traditional local restaurant, and share a special sunset dinner by the ocean.

These aren't simply meals on an itinerary. They're opportunities to slow down, gather together and savor where we are.

Beyond the Yoga Studio

Portugal will invite us outward.

We'll explore the surrounding countryside and villages, experience the beauty of the Alentejo, and make our way to the dramatic Atlantic coast of the Costa Vicentina.

There will be a founder-led tour of Quinta Camarena and its gardens, a chance to learn about the land and the vision behind this special place.

We'll also experience a sound bath, creating space for deep rest and listening in a different way.

And for those who want to explore further, optional experiences such as horseback riding, winery tours, kayaking, guided hikes and massages may be available at an additional cost.

The Place

Quinta Camarena is designed to make slowing down feel natural.

The yoga studio is tucked among pine and cork oak trees, surrounded by glass doors and natural light. The property offers a swimming pool, woodland sauna, gym, gardens, hiking and running trails, and beautiful spaces to gather or retreat into quiet.

The village of Cercal do Alentejo is within walking distance, while the beaches and rugged coastline of the Costa Vicentina are approximately 15 minutes drive away.

You'll have everything you need to make the week your own.

Remembering

Throughout the week, our practices and meditations will return to a simple question:

What are you remembering?

Perhaps it's the feeling of being at home in your body.

Perhaps it's the value of slowing down.

Perhaps it's a part of yourself that has been quiet beneath the noise of everyday life.

Perhaps it's simply the joy of being present enough to notice the life happening around you.

This retreat isn't about filling every moment. It's about creating enough space to feel, listen, receive and reconnect.

A week of movement and stillness.
Of nourishment and adventure.
Of laughter and quiet.
Of meaningful connection and time alone.

A week to step away from the familiar, breathe a little deeper, and remember what has always been there.

Come practice. Come explore. Come rest. Come reconnect.

Come remember.
